I was (I thought) a good Christian, yes one of the best!
I wore a Badge of Pride proudly on my chest!
I paid my tithes faithfully come Sunday morn!
When I pulled onto the Church grounds I always tooted my horn!
I was always found present at prayer meetings and such!
I had performed many good deeds and works and I did so much!
I volunteered every time there was a church need!
When someone needed prayer I was quick to pray and intercede!
I was a Church member in good standing for forty plus years!
When I spoke to the congregation I always got a standing ovation with many cheers!
I thought I was a perfect Christian, much better than most!
I even spoke in tongues through the power and annointing of the Holy Ghost!
Then one day I passed away in my sleep at home!
I found myself standing before the Main Gate of Heaven all alone!
But, The Gate Keeper would not open the Gate and let me in!
The Great Angel said, "I cannot admit you because you are carrying "one" hidden sin!
I said, But I did so many good deeds and works for God!
Still, the Angel refused to let me into Heaven which I thought was odd!
I pleaded with the GATE KEEPER, but he just would not budge!
He wept as he said, "I cannot let you in because you died holding onto unforgiveness with a grudge!
