Eyes to See
by PamFord Davis

We are blessed to have eyes to see God’s creation.

We are forever blessed to have eyes to see gospel truth.

“For the heart of this people has become dull,
With their ears they scarcely hear,
And they have closed their eyes,
Otherwise they would see with their eyes,
Hear with their ears,
And understand with their heart and return,
And I would heal them.’

But blessed are your eyes, because they see; and your ears, because they hear.  For truly I say to you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it (Matthew 13:15-17 NASB).”

He will bless all who have eyes of worship.

“To You I lift up my eyes,
O You who are enthroned in the heavens!
Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master,
As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress,
So our eyes look to the Lord our God,
Until He is gracious to us (Psalm 123:1-2 NASB).”

Open my eyes LORD!

“Open my eyes, that I may behold
Wonderful things from Your law (Psalm 119:16 NASB).”
