Moses and I
by Linda Jackson

Let me sing to the Lord, and Moses sang

The Warrior Lord for Israel

Released His battle plan

The darkness of egypt still falls

Evil thrown into the sea

The God of Moses also surrounding me

The same Warrior King is also my

Strength, Salvation, Song

Moses and I marching, our Victor is strong

The Right hand of our King, majestically shatters and swallows

What satan would bring

The Lord of all Lord's, Power is His Name

Moses and I, our Redeemer the same

Evil stood and screamed against Moses' God

The Lord had enough, through a staff

Sent forth His anger, drowning out those who laughed

Evil still cries against the song of my heart

Moses and I passed through death

A new life to start

Let us dance for our

Strength, Salvation, Song

Evil covering his ears, an ending sure and long

One day the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb

Will lift You up Lord, as the Great I AM

Sung by saints who satan bled

Words lifted to the King of the nations

The One from whom egypt has always fled

Moses and I know You are Truth and Right

King of all men, King of the fight

The curtain drawn back, the sky opens as a window wide

Moses and I, nor any of egypt, will be able to hide

You, Lord who parted the sea and parted death

No one will stand, You alone will be Blessed

The universe quakes, it has waited long, for

Your Strength

Your Salvation

Your Song
