RELATIONSHIPS
by Lewis E. Thomas RELATIONSHIPS Think about the time and investment you put into your "marriage" relationship!
Then think about your relationship with God and how you often "let it slip"!
If we neglected our spouse the way we neglect our Lord!
An unheard trumpet would begin playing taps over our marriage and Satan would rejoice with his evil hoard!
Think about the time you give to God during your day to day routine!
Now, if you gave your Spouse that same level of devotion would they consider you to be distant, cold hearted and maybe mean?
Do you put God on the "back burner" of your list of daily priorities?
Are you treating God in a way that makes Him well pleased?
Do you often skip or cut short the time you spend studying God's Word?
Is a "long prayer" by you something that God has never heard?
Does the time you spend in prayer down on bending knees...
Outweigh the time that you devote to your "BIG SCREEN T.V."?
Do you rush quickly by the Lord giving Him a quick "drive by" kiss?
When it comes to your prayers and devotion is it just a pathetic hit and miss?
Do you ever snuggle up close to God in prayer to whisper "I LOVE YOU" into His ear!
As you go through your day has your devotion to Him, kept His "presence" near?
*We get out of every relationship exactly what we are willing to "Put In"!*
Does the time you devote to God "outweigh" the time that you devote to worldly things my friend?
