The LORD is our Creator. He also created angels…

Angels are at Jesus’ beckoned call.

“Praise the Lord,
all His angels of great strength,
who do His word,
obedient to His command.
Praise the Lord, all His armies,
His servants who do His will.
Praise the Lord, all His works
in all the places where He rules.
My soul, praise Yahweh (Psalm 103:2 HCSB)!”

The angel Gabriel announced His coming.

“Then the angel told her:

Do not be afraid, Mary,
for you have found favor with God.
Now listen:
You will conceive and give birth to a son,
and you will call His name Jesus (Luke 1:30-31 HCSB).”

An angel announced His birth.

“Today a Savior, who is Messiah the Lord, was born for you in the city of David (Luke 2:11 HCSB).”

Angels came following Jesus victory over temptation.

“Then the Devil left Him, and immediately angels came and began to serve Him (Matthew 4:11 HCSB).”

Angels guarded Jesus tomb and announced His resurrection.

“But the angel told the women, ‘Don’t be afraid, because I know you are looking for Jesus who was crucified.  He is not here! For He has been resurrected, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay (Matthew 28:5-6 HCSB).”

Angels announced Jesus’ ascension.

“This Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come in the same way that you have seen Him going into heaven Acts 1:11b HCSB).”

Angels will accompany Jesus at His return!

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory (Matthew 25:31 HCSB).”
