THE MISSING PIECE

I want to talk about "THE MISSING PIECE" in this little rhyme.
There is one precious piece to life's puzzle that multitudes never find!
As they focus on all the other pieces, wasting such precious time!
We focus on the pieces of wealth, power, fortune, and fame!
And quickly snap them together to form our puzzle's outer frame!
Multitudes never find the most important piece of all!
That "PRECIOUS PIECE" that gives meaning and value to them all!
We have it all put together we think, but we find there remains a great void within our soul!
There is a "PRECIOUS PIECE" missing that leaves in our heart a big empty hole!
We can have all the material things we could ever want or need!
Yet still feel incomplete and still lacking some unseen element that we crave and need!
True contentment will allude us and stay just out of our reach on the wind!
As long as we remain slaves to Sin!
There will always be a missing piece within us on the path we trod!
Until we find it at "THE CROSS", because that "PRECIOUS PIECE" is Jesus Christ the Son of God!
