SOMEONE OUT THERE NEEDS "YOU"!

SOMEONE  OUT THERE NEEDS "YOU"!

We never know who needs us to come and give them a little hope!
I'm talking about "those" suffering in some way who are at the "end of their rope"!

Today I went to a Nursing Home to visit an elderly lady and friend!
She has been going through a "physical storm" that has some painful winds!

She had just gotten back from heart surgery and was in bed in the room she was in.
She heard a knock at her door and she said, "Please come on in"!

No one opened the door so she got out of bed to answer the knock she heard!
And as she told me her story I wished that that "knock" had never been heard!

As she started back to her bed she took a terrible fall!
She lay in the floor bleeding yelling "Someone Help Me!" as loud as she could call!

She had a great golfball size knot over her eyebrow that was all swollen, purple and blue!
Her left hand matched her eye, I wasn't there when it happened, so there was nothing I could do!

I went by to see her today to see how she was coming along!
Our chat together about God and life ended up being a good hour long!

She shared her deepest emotions with me as tears poured from her eyes!
She said, "Lewis, I feel like just giving up!" though I know that's not wise!

She said, "I feel so useless trapped within this bed!"
My heart grieved for her as I listened closely to "every word" she said!

I said, "Before I go I would like to pray for you"!
So, I took her hand in mine and prayed for her for a minute or two!

I prayed for her healing, both physical and the pain within her heart of emotions!
And I was "blessed by that time with her" as we lifted up to God our devotions!

You "never know" when some needy soul needs you to come by and simply pray!

As I was leaving Glenda said, "Thank you Lewis, I really needed "you" to come by today!"

But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
