THE DIVINE WARRIOR

Scriptural Reading: Haggai 2:22-23

‘‘ The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.’; Exodus 15:3 (KJV)

Victory in war depends on the one doing the fighting. While adopting good strategies to conquer in asymmetric warfare is a plus as well. A stronger nation with well-equipped arsenal will have upper hand against a weaker one and there are various strategies for winning different wars.

Our scriptural reading where we read in the book of Haggai 2:22-23, tells us that God is capable of overthrowing the empire of the wicked and the destruction of every satanic architecture and those that put their trust in any form of evil means-‘The Horses’. God fights different battles on our behalf on a daily basis, because He has chosen us for Himself a peculiar people.

God is a mighty man in battle and has fought several battles and He is still fighting and has never lost a single battle for the past 4000 years. He is always on the battlefield using different strategies for winning.

Have we been fighting difficult battles both physically and spiritually and they have refused to come to an end? It is time to invite the man of war into that battle and let Him take over. Here is an anchor scripture for relief. The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace’. Exodus 14:14 (KJV). When God fights, victory is guaranteed. He may decide to use earthquake, lightning, thunder, fire and other means that He feels suitable to Him. God is our shelter from the stormy blast and defense.

Dear God, take over all my battles and fight for me through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

When wars are won, victory becomes a household name
