DIVINE RECOVERY
by ONOME OGBAJIBREDE

Scriptural Reading: Joel 2:25-27

And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives. I Samuel 30:18 (KJV)

David was a victim of loses to his foes, but through divine intervention, he was able to take back what rightfully belonged to him. In I Samuel 30:19, David was able to recover his children alongside other valuables and there was nothing that he lacked.

Our scriptural reading where we took our text from in the book of Joel 2:25-27 shows us that God can restore to us all that we have lost through our years of wasted years and He will make us comfortable and that we will not be ashamed. When God is doing our restoration, then victory is sure because He cannot lie and deceive us since He is not a politician who makes empty promises.

God is pained when we experience loses as His dear children and He is the only one who can help us recover all our lost possessions. He is a powerful God that can beat all our enemies with His own horse-whip and they will be left with no option than to return what they have stolen from us in haste.

How can we enjoy divine recovery? It is by inviting God into the raiding and recovery process. And this is the anchor scripture for application on a daily basis for recovery all our lost possessions both physically and spiritually. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.’ James 4:8 (KJV). When we draw near to God in holiness and righteousness, He will help us recover all our stolen mandates.

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, recover all that we have lost to the hands of the wicked and withdraw their peace and let your angel of torment visit them. Amen

Recovery is the compensation for all lost virtues with interest.
