‘‘And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb’’. Genesis 30: 22 (KJV)

God is a compassionate father who is always there to wipe tears away from our eyes. Our books are always with Him and He opens them by pages. His remembrance is a great favour that ends all forms of struggling and hardship.

From our Bible passage we read in Genesis 30:22 (KJV), I am of the opinion that Rachel probably, must have suffered a delay in childbearing. But one day God remembered her and her womb was blessed and that challenge was taken over by God. Rachel conceived and gave birth to a son called Joseph (Genesis 30:23-24). Delay is not denial, no matter the constant tears, let continue in our services unto God, being patient and faithful unto Him as our creator. God remembered the likes of Hannah in the Bible, Job, Noah, and others. God is still in the business of remembering humankind today, barren women becoming pregnant and turning into joyful mothers of children, job offers, admission request being granted by God Almighty and a host of other notable miracles and God is with us, steering our ship of state on a daily basis. Nothing is too difficult for Him to handle. God alone understands

Have we been experiencing delay in the area of childbearing, marriage, school admission, getting a visa, financial breakthrough, healing, and the likes? Look up unto the Lord Jesus Christ who cannot fail. Read Psalm 34:4-5. God is aware of what we pass through and He is our present help in trouble always.

Dear Lord Jesus, as you keep opening the book of remembrance of individuals, open my book of remembrance this year and let all my delays come to an end speedily.
