Scriptural Reading: Luke 8:43-48

^‘‘ For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.’’  Proverbs 23:18 (KJV).

There are times when humankind is plagued with issues of life and would be kept at a particular spot of helplessness and hopelessness. If it an ailment that is long pending, people begin to run away from such victim and life in itself puts one at low ebb.

Our scriptural reading in the book of Luke 8:43-48, where we took our text from, tells us of the woman who had battled with an issue of blood. She bled for twelve years and the ugly trend sapped her resources to a very reasonable level from different medical practitioners who could not handle her case for a permanent solution. She was determined to be healed and she took her matter to Jesus and she was significantly healed.

The Almighty God who is the creator of Heavens and Earth and the possessor of the ends of the earth has all our spare parts and can replace all our damaged tissues by using Jesus Christ, the one He has given all authority, to solve the problem of humankind. Anyone who is down with any challenge or sickness, be it cancer, stroke, diabetes, high blood pressure or any other health challenge should bring all today to the Lord Jesus Christ and He will heal all as He did to the woman with the issue of blood. No matter how long that ailment or challenge may have lingered, surely there is an end today. Jesus is the greatest physician and burden bearer of all ages. This is what the Bible is saying in the book of Jeremiah 30:17 (NLT) I will give you back your health and heal your wounds,’’ says the LORD. ’’For you are called an outcast—‘Jerusalem^[a] for whom no one cares.’”

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, the greatest physician of all ages and our burden bearer, I bring all my sicknesses and challenges before you today, heal me and take over all my burdens. Amen.
