The horse is a passionate animal used for sporting activities due to its resilient nature and doggedness for races and the ability to instigate a friendship. It is a dynamic and dependable animal for those who use it as it does not get tired easily.

From where we took our text from in Psalm 33:17 (KJV), the horse is not referring to a physical horse but a spiritual horse that humankind depends on for protection and safety from spiritual attacks. This horse is in the form of different kind of charms, magic rings, spiritual bulletproof and spiritual powders for a favour, incision marks and other satanic devices used for self -defense outside God.

God Almighty is the only sure protection that is fully dependable and cannot fail and is never failing. He wants us to depend on Him alone for physical and spiritual help. The Devil has nothing good to offer in this world. As many that put their trust in God will never be desolate. He will never abandon them nor leave them helpless, but will surely regard our helpless estate. Charms fade and fail and make the user vulnerable to satanic attacks. There is no free lunch with the Devil. God is our sure help and He protects those that absolutely rely on Him and wants us to look up to Him every day. Do you have horses in your custody? Why not hand them over to God by burning them and running to Jesus for safety. God’s power protects.

Dear Lord Jesus, forgive me for all the horses I have relied on for protection. I step aside for you to step in for my daily protection, sure help and a refuge all the days of my life.

               The charm is a failing horse, but God’s help stands secured
