HARD ROW TO HOE!

Today I sit in prison doing some very, very hard time!
I have to pay for my many, many crimes!
Do you remember when we "worked together" every day down at the Mill?
Do you remember my bad temper and when you often told me ; "MAN YOU JUST NEED TO CHILL!"
Do you remember how I used to hunt and fish on Sunday while you were at the House of God?
I was walking down a "bad path" that took me farther and farther away from God?
Do you remember telling me once that I was your "BEST FRIEND"?
Do you remember that you never told me "even once" that I was living in "SIN"?
I remember you carried a little new testament Bible in your shirt pocket everyday!
But you "never" told me about that "STRAIGHT and NARROW WAY"!
I have been locked away in this prison for the past 20+ years!
I regret all the bad things I've done and I have soaked my prison pillow with many tears!
My children seldom come to see me anymore and my wife left me long years ago!
Sin has caused me a "world of heartache" and my life has been a "HARD ROW TO HOE"!
I wonder how different things could have been if you had told me of how Jesus died for me?
I think its very likely that I would be "outside" these prison walls and walking free!
I wonder how "different" my life just might have been!
If you had "shared the gospel with me" and told me how to be saved and "BORN AGAIN"?
