MY BLACK AND DECKER ANALOGY

MY BLACK AND DECKER ANALOGY

I acquired an old Black and Decker drill set that a relative was about to throw away!
And all the set needed was a "new battery" to get it back into play!

But, there was "one item" that was dead on arrival with a forward/reverse switch frozen and seized in place!
It was like unto a spiritually dead soul or vessel in desperate need of Gods grace!

Even with the new battery this "one piece" of the set just would not "power up" and run!
It was like a spiritually dead sinner trying to power up without "THE FATHER and THE SON"!

After I took it apart, down into pieces one by one!
I saw how I could change a few things here and there and rewire it, to get it to run!

The trigger switch was faulty too and as bad as an old "CROOKED JUDGE"!
And the drill's "chuck jaws" were rusted up and seized and refused to budge!

I worked for hours on that old dead drill trying to raise it from the dead!
"I could have just went to Home Depot and bought a new drill instead!"

I had to give it several treatments with PB Blaster to loosen those seized "Chuck Jaws" and set them free!
That reminded me of how Jesus anointed my soul with the Holy Spirit, saved me, and set me free!

But, you know, I "felt good" about what I was doing, bringing that old "useless tool" back to life again!
It reminded me of how God took a useless old spiritually dead "sinner like me" and rewired my circuits with Amazing Grace, so I could "POWER UP" over sin!

I drilled a hole through the front of the old drill trigger and installed a new push button "momentary switch" to control the battery power!
And I "finally" had that old drill "resurrected" and running again after investing several hours!

If your life is in a mess today and not working because of bad things/sin within!
Let Jesus Christ rewire your heart's circuits so that you can "power up" spiritually by being "BORN AGAIN"!
