AFTERLIFE

Thought: I've heard it said "your born, you live, you die, then what? Thousands live under the impression that death is the end of all things. For the Christian who base their beliefs on Biblical Truth's, life moves on into an eternal existence without end.

For the believer death is a new beginning in a new body , no more tears, no more pain or grief in a new home called Heaven. Along with this Truth comes HOPE that loved ones that have passed on will someday be re-united with family, friends and relatives. They will be able to recognize each other because the spiritual has put on the physical , one that you can touch and experience the joy of being re-united again.

These new bodies will be like Jesus after his resurrection when doubting Thomas reached out to touch the physical hand of Jesus. It will be like the deciples that recognized Moses and Elijah at the transfiguration of Jesus on the mountain. It will be like Samual who was summoned up from his rest after death by the medium of Endor. These were all people who were recognizable in their spiritual forms. Heaven is a place that the apostle Paul was not even able to describe because of it's beauty and serenity. For those who have had a peek into heaven and came back they described it as a place full of color and light, love and peace. They didn't want to return to their previous life.

Death is a common denominator to all living things. But the death of a believer is viewed by God as something special and a time of rejoicing as the child of God leaves this world of sin and goes to a perfect place to be with the Lord and their loved ones that have gone on before them.

Prayer: Father God, Thank you for the HOPE we have in a better life to come. One that will last an eternity with you and our loved ones. Amen

Verse: Psalms 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His godly ones."
