Our Boundaries
by PamFord Davis

My husband and I are preparing for a road trip to Las Vegas. No, we won’t be spending our vacation in neon-lit casino buildings or looking for Area 51. This will be a long awaited visit with our daughter, son-in-law and oldest grandson. Living over 1,000 miles apart we don’t get together as often as we would like. It’s a big country. Have you looked at our nation’s ‘boundaries’ lately?

“And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,  so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring (Acts 17:26-28 NKJV).”

Yes, His offspring; we are God’s adopted children.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,  just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,  having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,  to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved (Ephesians 1:3-6 NKJV).”
