Hurray! It's Christmas time and celebration of the hope of glory. Everything is subject to Christ's authority. An understanding of this will put a smile on you. This article encourages you to see the birth of Christ as the answer to your challenge.

For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace - Isaiah 9:6 (NKJV).

And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins - Matthew 1:21 (NKJV).

Jesus is the reason for the season. The birth of Christ is for the rise and fall of many things in your life; fall of everything that is not of God and the rise of everything ordained of God for you. The Lord's birth is basically for your good if you will receive it.

Christ came for a purpose

God is a God of purpose, everything He does is for a purpose and the birth of Christ is equally for a purpose. He came to save us from our sins (Matthew 1:21), do wondrous works, and the give us peace and life in abundance (John 10:10). Also, He came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), heal us by His stripes (1 Peter 2:24) and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage (Hebrews 2:15). Furthermore, as many as will take Christ's yoke upon them, will He give rest unto their souls (Matthew 11:29).

Everything is subject to Christ

All creation, including the devil and his agents, is subject to Jesus (Hebrews 2:8). He made Everything, through Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16); without Him nothing was made that was made (John 1:3) and He heads principalities and powers (Colossians 2:10). So, everything (including the dead, John 5:25) hears His voice and does as He commands.

As such, walking in this truth will cause you to live above limitations and oppression of the enemy, and enjoy all the blessings that Christ gives. So, whatever may be the challenge in your life is subject to Christ and will give way to you when you stand in the finished work of Jesus. He is the answer to your challenge.

Christmas Celebration

The birth of Christ is therefore, a celebration of victory over sin and freedom from the enemy and his works. It is a time to celebrate that your Saviour is born; He who will wipe away your tears and put a smile on your face. Also, it is a celebration of life, for He came to give you life and all that comes with it in abundance. Therefore, rejoice for your king is born this day and will also crown you king over that challenge.
