WHEN THE STONE ROLLED AWAY!

WHEN THE STONE ROLLED AWAY!

Old Satan had stirred up the crowd and incited them against the MIGHTY KING of kings!
And as old Pilate put a "Cat of Nine Tails" on Jesus' back the Savior "winced" as He endured the painful "STINGS"!

His precious innocent blood ran down from his Crown of Thorns onto His brow that day!
And as He was being beaten "mercilessly" He "endured it" so that you and I could have a better day!

Old Satan "rejoiced and danced" as He watched the Roman Soldiers nail Jesus to a Cross to die!
And the FATHER in Heaven watched also and He began to weep over His Son and cry!

We will never know just how much it cost!
To have our Sins paid for upon that CROSS!

We will never know how much suffering God and the Angels in Heaven endured!
As they watched the Lamb of God die so that the curse of sin could be cured!

When Jesus died Satan danced and leaped through the alleys and the streets!
Because he knew his evil plans against the Son of God were finally "COMPLETE"!

Pilate set a watch of Roman Soldiers to secure the tomb of Christ for 3 days of time!
And old Satan continued to dance with his demons around the entrance of Jesus' tomb because things were going "JUST FINE"!

"THE THIRD DAY" was coming quickly and as the hours and minutes quickly ticked away...
Old Satan continued to brag and boast to his demons of how he had "defeated Jesus" and made Him "pay"!

Then on that third day, early in the morning a blinding White Light filled the tomb and the Great Stone rolled away!
And old Satan and his demons began to "flee into the hills" as Jesus came forth from his tomb and walked away"!

Thank you Lord for that mighty and awesome resurrection day...
