God Will Provide
by PamFord Davis

The global economy is crashing.

The future looks bleak.

We choose our reaction, our response.

Will I respond with fear or faith?

“Though the fig tree should not blossom
And there be no fruit on the vines,
Though the yield of the olive should fail
And the fields produce no food,
Though the flock should be cut off from the fold
And there be no cattle in the stalls,
Yet I will exult in the Lord,
I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
The Lord God is my strength,
And He has made my feet like hinds’ feet,
And makes me walk on my high places.

For the choir director, on my stringed instruments (Habakkuk 3:17 NASB).”

The LORD knows what I need.

“Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’  For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.  But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

‘So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own (Matthew 6:31-34 NASB).”

We should not worry.

God will provide.

“And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 NASB).”
