"Surely the Lord God does
nothing,
Unless He reveals His secret to His
servant the prophets." Amos 3:7.
"The secret of the Lord is with those
who fear Him. " Psalm 25:14. New King James Version.

The Lord God who reigns supreme in the affairs of men does not allow any event to come to pass without bringing it to the notice of His servants, who fear Him. He has always been working in partnership with those who He created in His image and likeness who also fear Him. Gen 1:26. By so doing, there are records of events that were revealed before they occurred Daniel 2:28 states,
"But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets,
and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be
in the latter days,"

Note that the dreams and visions seen by the King which was interpreted by Daniel was meant to be fulfilled in the 'latter days" and not in the present time; it means, the Lord brings His plans and purposes to the attention of mankind before He executes them.
Let us briefly point out a few examples from the life of Jesus Christ :

CHRIST BIRTH. It is an uncommon birth and it was revealed before it took place. It was prophesied. For instance, Isaiah 7:14 states,
"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold,
the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call His
name Immanuel."
This was many years, decades, before the birth of the virgin who will conceive the son prophesied
At the time of fulfilment, the virgin herself, virgin Marry, hosted angel Gabriel who told her
"Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you blessed are you among women
Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favour with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a son, and shall call His name JESUS. " Luke 1:28,30-31.
At the right time, the son was born in the manger (Luke 2:7). 

CHRIST WORK AND LIFESTYLE : Do you know that Christ's duty and lifestyle was prophesied? His, was revealed thus, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraidto take to you, Mary, your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.
And she will bring forth a son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for
He shall save His people from their sins." Matthew 1:20-21.

CHRIST DEATH PROPHECIED. Do you know that His death and resurrection were not accidental? It was revealed, those prophesies before the time of fulfilling them. John 19:36-37 records,
" For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled,
"Not one of His bones shall be broken."
And again another Scripture says, "They shall look on Him whom they pierced"
These prophecies have come and gone. They have become history. Do you know that prophecies about Jesus Christ have not ended?

JESUS IS COMING AGAIN.
Because His birth took years before it came to pass, many have lost hope of His birth. This was the reason for its repetition to many prophets at different times. At the end of the day, it was fulfilled.
Nothing different from what He was predicted to carry out and what He actually did and how He ended His life in the physical.
He assured His disciples, then and now that
"I go to prepare a place for you,
And If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again aa receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." John 14:2-3.

These were the parting words of Jesus Christ. Do you think He will not fulfil what He had promised? He will surely come. This is even very imminent ; it is at the door; current events point to this truth. He continues to reveal this to those who have not heard this prophecy. He also reminds, in various forms, His disciples not to fail to prepare for His impending coming for His bride, the church.

Do you know what? It is to your advantage to believe and prepare for His coming. It is only this that will be to your advantage. You will see it coming to pass.
