RELATIVISM WITHOUT GOD

Thought:  My children gifted me with one of those extraordinary technology devices called Alexa.  My curiosity got the best of me, so I asked it the meaning of relativism.  This was its answer. “Any theory holding that criteria of judgments are relative varying with the individual and their environments.”

Translated in plain English, whatever you hold as your truth might not be the same for someone else.  This allows a person to be in full charge of themselves, setting their own rules without conviction from God’s moral laws.  White and black takes on grey tones.  This mindset has been promoted for years from Godless professors and teachers in our places of higher learning.  Thus, we see the fruits it has produced with the violence and hate throughout our country.

It’s no problem for protestors to loot and burn their own people’s businesses.  It’s their truth and to them there’s no wrong in what they do.  Relativism is an extremely dangerous ideology that has no set rules between good and bad, black, and white.  God’s Word tells us  (Heb. 8:10) “But this is the new agreement I will make with the people of Israel, says the Lord: I will write my laws in their minds so that they will know what I want them to do without me even telling them, and these laws will be in their hearts so that they will want to obey them.”

It’s called a conscience.  We know instinctively right from wrong, but we also have a free will to reject those rules and the God who made them. Through Evolution and Relativism our children have been programmed to be agnostics and atheists.  After four years of programming it’s no wonder why we lose our children to the world’s idea of their existence.  This leaves them without hope for a better future beyond this earthly life.   As parents and grandparents, we have a responsibility to be the role model our children need that will draw them back into the arms of Jesus.  Our lives are the book they often read.  Maranatha

Prayer:  Father God, this world and its people are desperate for hope, peace and eternal life.   It is a simple decision on their part to receive these gifts that are found in the person of Jesus.  Believe what he accomplished on the cross and resurrection, confess your need for Him and invite Jesus into your life. Amen

Verse:  Ecclesiastes 10:2 “The mind of the wise tends towards the right, but the mind of the fool towards the left.”  Psalms 14:1 “the fool hath said in his heart there is no God.”
