Who puts people in public office?

Who keeps him or her in their place of public service?

This is an important election year; in reality, every election is important.

My husband and I voted early. We’ve been praying for the outcome; God is in control. We may or may not see victory for our candidates. America may experience God’s blessings; we could see His judgment.

Ultimately, all authority is granted by God.

He is sovereign.

“Jesus answered him, ‘You would have no authority over Me at all, if it had not been given to you from above; for this reason the one who handed Me over to you has the greater sin (John 19:11 NASB).”

Let us pray…

“Pray, then, in this way:

‘Our Father, who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:9-10 NASB).”
