Thought:  There is usually a down time that follows the days after Christmas.  For the believers (Christians) they don’t leave Christ in the manger.  The reality for them is that Jesus is alive and well in their hearts and home.  Their lives are the temple in which God resides.  They are His children and Christmas for the believer never ends.  The Spirit of Christmas, which is love, joy, peace and comfort found in Christ Jesus, goes on until they meet the Savior face to face.  Their comfort is in His promise that He will never leave them nor forsake them.  No matter what the circumstance He will carry them through giving them strength, love and purpose of a bright future when he rules the world as King of Kings.

The mystery of the indwelling spirit of Christ was revealed at Pentecost.  While Jesus (God) was in the flesh as a human he was limited and could only reach out to the twelve disciples and those around him who heard His message.  At His death, resurrection and new spiritual body He later ascended to His rightful place of glory and returned in Spirit (Holy Spirit) so that He could be within all those, who through faith, believed in who He was and what he had accomplished on the cross (redemption for all mankind.) In His return in Spirit, He was not limited to just those around Him but could now indwell thousands of men, woman and children that opened their hearts to His presence (Eph. 4:9-10) “Notice that it says He returned to Heaven.  This means that he had first come down from the heights of heaven, far down to the lowest parts of the earth.  The same one who came down is the one who went back up, that he might fill all things everywhere with himself, from the very lowest to the very highest.”

Through this spiritual process we can now have access to our Creator God moment by moment and come into His very throne of grace.  CHRISTMAS mas will never end nor leave us downcast but His presence in our hearts will give us the peace, joy and comfort we desire. There will be a time, soon, that we will meet Him face to face in the rapture, the taking out of believers (Christians) before the 7 year tribulation falls upon all mankind.  Would you like the Spirit (Jesus) of CHRIST mas to never end? If you have not done this yet, invite him into your life today and have a merry CHRIST mas the rest of your life and beyond.  Maranatha

Prayer:  Father God, as one of your children I don’t leave Jesus in the manger but worship you as my Lord and Savior who rescued me out of the grasp of Satan.  Christmas to me is you within for an eternity.  Now I can start my New Year without fear as to what’s coming but look forward to who’s coming as King with great expectancy.  Amen

Verse:  Heb. 13:5,6 “Stay away from the love of money; be satisfied with what you have.  For God has said, “I will never, never fail you nor forsake you.”  That is why we can say without any doubt or fear, “THE LORD IS MY HELPER AND I AM NOT AFRAID OF ANYTHING MERE MAN (or virus) CAN DO TO ME.”
