Life

Life…

I should never take life for granted; it’s a precious gift from God.

“Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living person (Genesis 2: 7 NASB).”

God created man and woman.

“So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place.  And the Lord God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man, and brought her to the man (Genesis 2:21-22 NASB).”

Eve knew that life (birth) was sacred.

“Now the man had relations with his wife Eve, and she conceived and gave birth to Cain, and she said, ‘I have obtained a male child with the help of the Lord (Genesis 4:1 NASB).”

The LORD gives life; He sustains life.

“My flesh and my heart may fail,
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever (Psalm 73:26 NASB).”

My heart is still beating; I live.

“Watch over your heart with all diligence,
For from it flow the springs of life (Proverbs 4:23 NASB).”
