Grandmother's Reflections
by Angela M. Baker-Bridge

You giggle and laugh
Mom tickles your toes
I watch and I think
Thoughts nobody knows

Remembering your Dad
When we played that game
Was it yesterday
He giggled the same

My heart's filled with pride
My face glows with joy
Watching my own son
Now raising his boy

You're so much cuter
And smarter than most
Making it easy
For Grandma to boast

Always remember
Grow strong in God's Word
And speak of His love
Till everyone's heard

Soon you'll be tickling
Your little son's toes
Counting his fingers
And stealing his nose

I'll watch and reflect
On moments with you
Praying that he'll keep
On serving God too
