Doing My Part
by PamFord Davis

Who, what, where and when…

Policeman, lawyers and reporters should stick to the facts.

Christians know the importance of proclaiming the truth. A good witness backs up their testimony with God’s inspired word.

“All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17 NASB).”

Scripture, God's word...

“For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12 NASB).”

His word will not fail.

“The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever (Isaiah 40:8 NASB). “

Forever …

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away (Matthew 24:35 NASB).”

What’s my part? Will I be faithful in keeping His word?

“I have treasured Your word in my heart,
So that I may not sin against You (Psalm 119:11 NASB).”
