I Thessalonians 4:16 – 17 says, "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. " I Corinthians 15:52 says that this event could happen "in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump." 

I was looking for a job – eagerly hoping and anticipating a job.  I sent the initial email using a unique email address I had for my job search.  Waiting - - waiting - waiting for the response that never came.  Notification of receipt of email would show up automatically at the bottom of my computer screen.  Nothing happened.  

Then one day, I decided to check that email address anyway.  Oops!  Even though the notification system had not worked, I had received a response to my email - several days before.  But now it was too late for that job.

If you are a born-again Christian and know just a little about the Bible, you know that Jesus is coming.  He could come at any time and take all believers to heaven to be with Him in the Rapture (catching away).                 

Are you born-again?  If not, you could be too late and miss the Rapture.  Accept Jesus as your Savior today.

As a Christian, are you watching and ready?  Do you love Jesus?  Is He the pre-eminent One in your life?  I John 3:2-3 says, "we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.  And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure."

I John 2:28 says, "abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming."

Are you ready (born-again), watching, and confident as you look for His Return?
