There is a little fish that sharks like to eat, but which cannot be eaten: The Moses Sole Fish simply lies still and secretes a poison--that locks the shark's jaws! So is our praise and thanksgiving the poison that freezes--and routs--the enemy!

“For the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens. From the lips of children and infants You have ordained praise on account of Your adversaries, to silence the enemy and to still the avenger,” Psalm 8:1-2.

“As they began to sing and praise, The LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated,” 2 Chronicles 20:22.

The words of our mouth are very powerful, and the more we can say what we want, and not say what we don't, the better our lives will be.  We are created to be "speaking spirits." 

I have messed up horribly with my words through the years, and I'm so glad the LORD has been teaching me to repent of those wrong words, and listen to and watch positive things--especially His Word and ways--and stop being around people who talk and act against His Word! My life has become SO MUCH BETTER since I've been doing that!

Yours will too! 

So, if the enemy attacks, you can greatly lessen and shorten--and even stop--his attacks, when other spiritual rules are being followed, by turning your attention to God with praise and worship and thanksgiving. The enemy is jealous and will not hang around to hear us praise God! Hallelujah!

OUR GOD REIGNS and if GOD is for us (and HE IS!), then none can be against us! As Romans 8:31 says (AMPC), "What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]"

Speaking the Word of God, going to a Bible-believing church regularly, thanking the LORD, praying the Word, and in the Spirit, repenting (making changes as the LORD shows you to), and praising and worshiping the LORD will give you victory--and a better life than you ever could have imagined (John 10:10)!
