THE LIGHT OF LIFE
by Lewis E. Thomas THE LIGHT OF LIFE When your "LIGHT" goes out, "IT'S ALL OVER, SAID, and DONE"!
After death the things you did wrong in your life can't be "FORGIVEN" or "UNDONE"!
When your "LIGHT" goes out, there won't be another chance to repent and to get right with God!
Your "FATE" will be "SEALED" though you might think that "ODD"!
You will have no more opportunities to say "IM SORRY" to someone you did wrong!
You will find yourself kneeling before God, to be "JUDGED BEFORE HIS THRONE"!
When your "LIGHT" goes out it will be too late to run to that "OLD RUGGED CROSS"!
You will "STEP INTO ETERNITY" as a soul that is either "SAVED" or "FOREVER LOST"!
You won't have another opportunity to be forgiven for the "GRUDGES" you held against others to the end!
If you die clinging to "UNFORGIVENESS" you will "DIE IN YOUR SINS"!
When your "LIGHT" goes out after you take that last and "FINAL BREATH"!
Where will you spend eternity after your death?
Will you go to HEAVEN to live forever with the "FATHER and THE SON"?
Or will "HELL" be your eternal home after your life on this earth is done?
When your "LIGHT" goes out will God's Angels escort you up to that Heavenly City to walk on Streets of Gold?
When your "LIGHT" goes out will GOD find that it is "WELL WITH YOUR SOUL"?
Give great "THOUGHT" to all the words in this rhyme!
Your "LIGHT" could go out "TODAY" at an "UNEXPECTED POINT in TIME"!
