THE REALITY OF HELL!
by Lewis E. Thomas THE REALITY OF HELL! Hell is a place somewhere deep down within the bowels of the earth below! It is a "PLACE OF TORMENT" where all "LOST SOULS" go! The punishment in Hell for rejecting or ignoring Jesus Christ is going to be EXTREME!
It is going to be far, far, "GREATER" than being cruel or "MEAN"!
Much of the punishment in "HELL" is going to come forth from your own "MEMORIES"!
As you are reminded "OVER AND OVER" of the opportunities you had to "REPENT" and to ""EMBRACE JESUS" the KING of kings!
You will "continually" see visions of all those little Churches you passed up on Sundays on your way to places like the "BEACH"!
Every squandered opportunity will "LATCH" onto you and "BITE" you "OVER and OVER" like an old blood sucking "LEECH"!
You will be reminded over and over of those in your "CIRCLE" of "FAMILY" and "FRIENDS"!
Who warned and pleaded with you, to turn to Jesus to be "FORGIVEN" of your "SINS"!
Your memories will bring you more "PAIN" than the "FLAMES BURNING YOUR SOUL"!
As you are reminded "OVER and OVER" again of how you "IGNORED" every opportunity God gave you to walk on Heaven's STREETS of GOLD"!
MEMORIES, MEMORIES, that keep repeating themselves "FOREVER" and "FOREVER" that "NEVER LET UP" or fade away!
If you are not a Christian you had better think about all of that, "EACH and EVERY" day!
God has done "ALL" He could to save us from Hell by sending His own Son to die for us on that "OLD RUGGED CROSS"!
All who reject or ignore Jesus, the Son of God will become "ETERNALLY LOST"!
Think about that long and hard "WHILE" you still have "TIME"!
God is giving you one more opportunity to be "BORN AGAIN" as you close this rhyme!
The Clock is counting down and "YOU" are "RUNNING OUT OF TIME"!
