When I Choose To Sin
by Rick Oraham

When I choose to sin, I limit my options; I cannot win
It's a choice I make, my life is at stake
Sin's power I must break for Satan wants my life to take
If I don't feel shame, remorse or pain
It is I, not God, who has moved away
If I sin, it is I who choose
Choose to lose because I refuse
To listen to God or take the narrow path
With the way I was heading, would've felt his wrath
And it, my friend, would be justified
So many, many times I tried to hide
But God knows all, sees all, ya'll
I wonder how many times He has watched me fall
But despite my failures, He shows me love
And out of this muck we will rise above
