A MAN STOOD BEFORE GOD!

A man stood before God at the Judgment Seat all "ALONE"!
The life he had lived on earth was now "OVER" and "FOREVER GONE"!
The "BOOK OF LIFE" was opened by God and the man's name did "NOT" appear therein!
He was another lost soul who had died in Sin!
He argued with God that he had been a "GOOD MAN" by his own right and in his "OWN EYES"!
To make such a statement showed he was unfamiliar with God's Word + not very "WISE"!
GOD asked him: By what Standard of Measure did you determine that you are "GOOD" today?
You have ignored my HOLY WORD, which is the STANDARD for RIGHT and WRONG every day!
He replied: Lord I have always followed my own code of what is RIGHT and WRONG!
My tough and rebellious spirit in my opinion is what made me "STRONG"!
Lord, I believed life was too short to spend it serving some God out there beyond the blue!
I lived my life "FREE" from religion so I wouldn't feel guilty about evil things that I would do!
GOD: I sent my son JESUS down to the earth to die for people just like you!
"I watched my Son get beaten to the point of death to "SAVE" you and to make you "NEW"!
"I watched people like you drive rusty spikes through his innocent hands and feet!"
"I watched them "MOCK and "CURSE" him as he took their punishment on the Cross to show his love so sweet!
You have lived your whole life ignoring "EVERYTHING" my Son did to save your soul!
"You will "NEVER" see "HEAVEN" nor will you ever walk upon it's "STREETS of GOLD"!
Note: This rhyme is a warning from God to everyone who reads these lines!
Run to that "OLD RUGGED CROSS" while you still have "TIME"!
