Ask For His Grace
by Tonja Taylor

Yet grace (God’s unmerited favor) was given to each of us individually [not indiscriminately, but in different ways] in proportion to the measure of Christ’s [rich and bounteous] gift.--Ephesians 4:7, AMPC

I'm not sure when I learned to ask the LORD to "put His Grace all over this" for me, but I'm so glad I did! Whether it came through a book, teaching or preaching, a worship song, or by direct revelation to my heart by spending time with God, I don't know.

But it came.

Many times, the Holy Spirit Who is God has reminded me to ask for the LORD's Grace.

I can't explain it except to say that it is yet another sublime facet of God's endless love for us. I just know that, when I ask the LORD to put His Grace on a specific situation for me, He does. Things go smoother and are easier than they would be otherwise.

For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God;--Ephesians 2:8, AMPC

What an amazing, truly awesome (I ONLY use "awesome" for Him!) God we serve! There is none like Him!

If it works for me, it will work for you.

You can start today asking the LORD to put His Grace on a situation that has seemed hard to you--whether it's a relationship, finances, a physcical challenge, a hurtful emotion, or anything else. He cares about every detail of your life, and His love for you is immeasurable!
