PROGRAMMED BY FEAR

Thought:  Fear is running rampant throughout our nation's people.  What’s behind it all?  Partially to blame is our news media who continually hype up the virus like everyone is going to die.  If we really knew the true statistics, most of the deaths have occurred with the elderly or those who have had pre-medical conditions.  The percentage is very high of those who contracted it and recovered.  Fear and intimidation is how the enemy controls us through tyrannical leaders.

Right now, medical personnel are reporting high numbers of heart conditions in our youth from the vaccine.  Could it be that our Creator God made us with an incredible immune system that would fight off these invasive viruses, especially in our youth? Don’t allow fear to consume you, allowing others to control you. Be confident in the knowledge of your Creator God.  Let Him give you the peace and comfort you're searching for right now. We live in troublesome times and uncertainties.  Put your trust in the Savior that has His timing for all things.  Remember, Peter started to drown when he took his eyes off Jesus and placed them on his circumstance.  Keep your eyes on the Savior and he will carry you through whatever comes into your life.  He is the great Comforter and peace giver who will keep your heart and mind at rest.

If you are a parent or grandparent, your children are watching you to see how you  handle adverse circumstances and they learn how to deal with life through how you respond. You are their role model, and they learn from you on how to cope with difficult situations.  Let them see you as a strong and courageous person who puts your trust in God.  The song goes “Trust and obey for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey.’

Prayer:  Father God, you are my strength in troublesome times.  You will walk with me through them.  I have the assurance that you will never leave me. Amen

Verse:  Phill 4:6,7 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.  Tell God what you need and thank him for all he has done.  Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.  His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”
