Stolen Identity
by PamFord Davis

Stolen identity…

You have fallen victim to a hacker. They stole your personal information and gained access to your social security number, bank account and credit cards. Traumatized, you begin the long tedious process of replacing identification. You must notify credit card companies and all creditors.

‘No, I didn't make that purchase; someone stole my identity.’

Falling prey to deception can have eternal consequences. Many will be gullible and believe those who try to steal Jesus’ identity.

“Then Jesus began by telling them: ‘Watch out that no one deceives you.  Many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and they will deceive many. When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, don’t be alarmed; these things must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains (Mark 13:5-8 HCSB).”

Don’t be deceived. We will know Jesus when He returns.

“For we say this to you by a revelation from the Lord: We who are still alive at the Lord’s coming will certainly have no advantage over those who have fallen asleep.  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words (1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 HCSB)."
