Write Queen-Mangosteen Fruit Pt I
by Freda Douglas

I have received a number of queries from interested reads about the product I use (to keep up my appearance among other uses) and market. Rather than take the time to answer one individually I decided to write a couple of articles about the most asked questions, and hope those who asked
the questions would find the articles.

One place I know they will be is in the reprint section at this url.
http://www.faithwriters.com/websites/my_website.php?id=28340
I know they will be there because I showcase most of my articles there. (1) it
is my favorite reading site and I think it will be yours once you go there and
(2) I like to reach Christians and this is the best site, although there are others,
on the Internet to do that.

First, let's talk about mangosteen fruit where is it grown, what's it look like?

The mangosteen fruit, dubbed the Queen of Fruits by Queen Victoria many years ago, is grown in southeast Asia for centuries and in more recent times in countries like Brazil and the Caribbean. About the size of a tangerine, it has a deep purple rind (pericarp) on the outside and pure white segmented delicious fruit on the inside. Mangosteen has been used for centuries by the natives for things such as poultices, headaches, malaria and other ailments indigenous to their native lands.
Now, due to continued medical and scientific examination, the entire world is beginning to learn of the mangosteen fruit's potential to contribute to improved health and vitality.

Now let's talk about do we really need supplements?

Few would argue that pharmaceutical drugs dominate the conventional health care world, and many health professionals are increasingly recognizing the need for improved lifestyle and less dependence
on drugs. While drugs certainly have value, they are potent and often toxic to the body. Nutritional supplements are uually
milder in their actions and create fewer side effects in general than their
pharmaceutical counterparts.

Even the American Medical Association (AMA) has conceded that because people do not eat a proper diet, they recommend that all adults and teenagers should regularly take a multi-vitamin/mineral supplement.

Mounting research suggests what native folk healers have thought for centuries that the mangosteen fruit may be helpful for a variety of conditions ranging from diarrhea and skin infections to arthritis and diabetes.

The next article will discuss free radicals, proanthocyanidins and catechins, and if we have room we'll discuss polysaccharides and sterols as well as xanthones. If not, there will be
another part, followed by 22 reasons you should use mangosteen juice. In the meantime, if you are interested in what you have read so far my name is Freda and you can reach me at [email protected] or 256-796-0651 (CST). If the line is busy or I don't answer, leave a voice message. I will call you back.
