The more I follow Jesus, our Good Shepherd, the better my life gets!

I've been saying for years, "He treats me to a feast while my enemies watch!" That's a paraphrase of Psalm 23:5. 

One preacher made it simple: "If something is good in your life, it's from God. If it's bad, it's from the devil."

There really are only two choices! Yet, from the time Elohim--God the Creator--made the world and created the Garden of Eden for Adam and Eve and all the kids they would have, He never meant for us to experience hardship or evil of any kind!

God is good, and all good, and only good--forever!

O taste and see that the Lord [our God] is good! Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who trusts and takes refuge in Him.--Psalm 34:8, AMPC

Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear, revere, and worship You, goodness which You have wrought for those who trust and take refuge in You before the sons of men!--Psalm 31:19, AMPC

God is Love (I John 4:8), and any time, any way, that anyone has ever shown you love, it is GOD Himself in action!

Isn't that superb?!

He is very gentle, and sweet, and kind, and generous, and thoughtful, and is always and forever planning only good for you--His precious Child!

11 For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.--Jeremiah 29:11, AMPC

I'm so very glad that, when I was in a very angry, terrible marriage and deep depression in 1995, that I was too chicken to kill myself! I did tell the LORD I didn't want to live anymore; to take my life. 

He did! Praise the LORD, He started taking away the old junk--the carnal messes and mixups and pits I'd gotten myself into--and replacing those wicked things with the righteous!! Hallelujah!!

He started teaching me His Word, and that is literally what saved my mind, more than once. His Word and worship have been my lifeblood, and the more I agree with His wonderful, living Word, the better my life is!

He is so very faithful, and I praise His name forever!

Hallelujah!

Start thanking Him for the good in your life, and it will grow, for He loves to be thanked (just like the rest of us!), and He will pour on the blessings even more!

Know this: God loves you so much that He gave Jesus for you, and Jesus gave His life for you on the cross, then rose again after three days (John 3:14-17), so you can live a wonderful life.

Ask Him into your heart today, or to draw you closer if you already believe in Him. There is always more in God--and it just gets better, for HE IS GOOD! Blessed be the LORD, for He is good, and His mercy endures forever!
