Looking Up
by PamFord Davis

Are you looking up?

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day (Genesis 1:3-8 KJV).”

The Psalmist looked up.

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge (Psalm 19:1-2 KJV).”

Creation reveals the Creator; look up.

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse (Romans 1:18-20 KJV).”

The signs of the times are predictions of Jesus’ return; look up!

“And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh (Luke 21:28 KJV).”
