Sing While Taking Communion!
by Tonja Taylor

Many scholars believe that the LORD sang the world into existence! Isn't that exciting to think about?

Years ago, the LORD helped me understand that, as a king and a priest of the Most High God, I had the right to take Communion.

And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests, a holy nation [consecrated, set apart to the worship of God]. These are the words you shall speak to the Israelites.--Exodus 19:6

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, [God’s] own purchased, special people, that you may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.--I Peter 2:9, AMPC

Hallelujah! What an honor!

I also learned that "Communion" or "Eucharist" really means "Thanksgiving," so when we take Communion to remember the LORD's death for us on the cross--where He broke the power of every curse off our lives, HALLEUJAH!--we are to be thankful!

We can even take Communion on behalf of others, to intercede for them!

The LORD is so gracius and merciful, looking for someone to pray for others, to stand up for them--so the LORD Jesus (Who ever lives to interced for us, as our High Priest!)--then I could also sing before the LORD.

We can sing, to the joy of the LORD, and He loves it!

Try it; it's powerful--Communion first, of course, and also singing as you feel led by His Spirit.

He loves you very much, and is doing great things in your life!
