Thought:  Part 2:   The curtain that was at the entrance into the Holy of Holies was 4 “ thick and made from several layers of material.  It was torn from top to bottom when Jesus uttered the words “it is finished.”  God’s power was revealed.  The entry way to God’s presence was now accessible to mankind.  The power of redemption took place to change man’s direction from sin into Salvation.

God’s power is revealed throughout the scriptures.   He but spoke and creation happened.  He created man and woman to populate the earth.  He walked on water, calmed the storm, healed the sick, raised the dead, and his greatest power was demonstrated in the redemption of mankind.  The Creator God became man because there was no one else to pay the price of sin and disobedience.  Jesus was sinless and creator of all there is (Col. 1:15-19). His power is demonstrated in the change that a believer makes when He becomes a part of their life.  They have been forgiven and move on to a new direction and plan for their lives.  They are now able to enter that Holy place and have sweet fellowship with God Himself.

Believers don’t have a garden to walk in with the Lord like Adam and Eve but they now have a spiritual place they can meet on a moment by moment basis in sweet fellowship with the great I AM who loves them enough to die for them.

God created man with a special ability to choose.  It’s called a free will.  It is our choice to believe the gospel of Salvation, to believe in who He is, Messiah the Savior, and what He accomplished on the cross because of his love for His created.   Invite Him into your life today and begin a new beginning that will never end.  Time is short, today is the day of Salvation.  Make that choice now.

Prayer:  Father God, what a privilege it is to be counted as one of your children when we make that decision to invite Jesus into our life. You give us a new purpose and hope for a better future that will never end.  Amen

Verse:  II Cor. 5:17-20 “How differently I feel now! When someone becomes a Christian, he becomes a brand-new person inside.  He is not the same anymore.  A new life has begun. All these new things are from God who brought us back to himself through what Christ Jesus did.  And God has given us the privilege of urging everyone to come into his favor and be reconciled to him.  For God was in Christ, restoring the world to himself, no longer counting men’s sins against them but blotting them out.  This is the wonderful message he has given us to tell others.”
