Are you FAT? I mean the acronyn that a student shared with me, that means something much better than what you may think! 

She is in sixth grade, and very bright. She has often shared with me about her school life as I tutor her in ESL online.  

"You know," she said a few weeks ago, "my friends and I have come up with a saying, so that when bullies call us 'fat' we say, 'Yeah! We are FAT-- Fabulous, Attractive, and Talented!'"

Amen! More power to her--and to us all!

Through the years, I have had many people--including those closest to me--make fun of the way I look. (I've also had many people go the other way, and over-admire the way I look. The enemy can work both ways, and it all comes down to remembering who we are in Christ, and realizing we are spirits with souls in bodies, and these bodies are simply the houses we live in. We do not want to be distracted nor a distraction, for "even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed as one of these (flowers of the field).")

I finally learned that God never speaks fear, doubt, or discouragement; that is what the enemy--who is a defeated and jealous bully--does! 

So we choose to listen to our darling Daddy God, Who loved us so much He gave His only Son, Jesus, the perfect spotless Lamb of God, to die for us (John 3:15-17)! Hallelujah! 

We remember our true identity as glorious Daughters of the Most High God, Jesus Christ, to Whom we are perfect and beautiful in every way--for His holy blood has covered and cleansed and restored us to the Covenant purity and Blessing we were always meant to have (Genesis 1)! 

Hallelujah!

So, if someone calls you "fat"--you can agree with them--and teach them what it really means!
