The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God. And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with Him]; only we must share His suffering if we are to share His glory. [But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!--Romans 8:16-18, AMPC

I had a dream that revealed to me that I and all true Believers in Christ Jesus need to realize more deeply that we have already been crowned as royalty!

In the dream, my husband and I were in the office of a doctor, and we were both scheduled for surgery--to extend our necks; make them "worthy" in the words of the doctor--in order to make them strong enough to carry a crown!

There were many other people scheduled for the same surgery.

We were standing by a counter, and the doctor came in. I started feeling very uncomfortable and realized in my spirit that his name had a demonic connotation.

I realized the Holy Spirit was talking to me; convicting me by causing my peace to leave (which is often the way He has helped me understand I was going the wrong way).

In the dream, the Spirit helped me understand that the intentions of the doctor were evil, and that we needed to get out of there. 

The doctor didn't say anything, but I knew he was preparing to take one of us back for surgery. 

I told my husband what the Holy Spirit had revealed to me, and we told the doctor we had decided against the surgery. 

He was not pleased, of course, but I also knew we had angelic protection, and we left. 

Even more important than the LORD exposing the evil was the fact that,  through our faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross to forgive and cleanse us from all our sins, we had already been crowned as royalty! We had already--from the very moment we received Jesus as our Savior and LORD!--become part of God's eternal Royal Family! He had crowned us, through that heavenly adoption, as kings and priests to reign with Him through King Jesus, forever! 

So, know that, as a true Believer in Jesus Christ, the LORD of all and the Son of God Who gave His life for us on the cross (John 3:14-17), you are already crowned!  

5 And from Jesus Christ the faithful and trustworthy Witness, the Firstborn of the dead [first to be brought back to life] and the Prince (Ruler) of the kings of the earth. To Him Who ever loves us and has once [for all] loosed and freed us from our sins by His own blood, 6 And formed us into a kingdom (a royal race), priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the power and  the majesty and the dominion throughout the ages and forever and ever. Amen (so be it).--Revelation 1:5-6, AMPC
