My ideas; they seem to go nowhere,

whence I examine my own brand of hype;

I stare at the few words remaining

and despise every last word I’ve typed!

So when I awake,

to write or not to write

is what I always pray;

before I sit down.....

confident

of every word imaginable that day.

For if I write on an uncertain subject

that tells others what to do;

I better make sure

what all I’m telling them is completely true!

Or else explain in such a way

that others comprehend;

because I take my responsibility seriously

and on this, I will not ponder or bend.

So please tell me, what does it matter

how long it takes to work a line?

To write or not to write is the hero,

not some ego boost prompting wrong ideas of mine.
