Icemaker
by PamFord Davis

My husband and I drink lots of ice water in the summertime. We do have an icemaker (I’m it).

Ice has a split personality. It’s so beneficial in this heat; yet, is a hazard in the winter; no one wants to slip and fall on icy steps or sidewalks. Beware of black ice on roads when driving.

I said that I’m an icemaker; to be honest, God made it first.

“He showers snow like wool;
He scatters the frost like ashes.
He hurls His ice as fragments;
Who can stand before His cold?
He sends His word and makes them melt (Psalm 147:16-18a NASB).”

Notice the repetition of words He and His in today’s scripture passage.

It’s all about Him!
