TAKE YOUR BATTLES TO THE LORD!

TAKE YOUR BATTLES TO THE LORD!

In 2nd Kings 18-19 King Hezekiah received a very threatening message and demand!
King Sennacherib, the King of Assyria sent 3 messengers into Hezekiah's land!

Rabshakeh was King Sennacherib's main spokesman and he brought a great army with him to back him up!
Rabshakeh yelled to the men on the wall of Jerusalem: Do not trust in King Hezekiah to save you from being destroyed and broken up!

He yelled: "Don't let Hezekiah tell you to trust in the Lord to deliver you out of our hand!"
"Make an agreement with us right now and save yourselves, by obeying our commands!"

Rabshakeh spoke of "ALL" the other kingdoms they had conquered and totally destroyed!
Saying that "NO GODS" had ever stopped King Sennacherib's "Mighty Army" once it had been deployed!

Hezekiah received a letter from Rabshakeh, and he took it and spread it out before the Lord because he was facing impossible odds!
He prayed: Lord, "SAVE US" out of their hands so that all the kingdoms of the earth may "KNOW" that "YOU" are the only "TRUE GOD"!

Isaiah the prophet said to Hezekiah: "What you have prayed to God against Sennacherib He has surely heard!"
God says: "Sennacherib SHALL NOT enter into Jerusalem to shoot even one arrow there, you have MY WORD"!

That very night God sent "ONE ANGEL" into the ranks of the Assyrian Camp as Samuel had said!
When Hezekiah awoke the next morning he found that Sennacherib's 185,000 man ARMY of SOLDIERS were all DEAD!

This story is to "ENCOURAGE" every Christian to take their "BATTLES" to "THE LORD" in prayer!
You won't have to fight your battles alone, so "STAY ON THE BATTLEFIELD" because God will "SURELY" join you there!

Take your battles to the Lord...
