To all those by which offense,

was planned or tempted;

my ego has not been bruised.

My esteem comes from the LORD,

He’s the One Who spares me

in being wrongly accused.

Contentment, it comes in recant

and keeps at bay, the ominous toll;

to instead bring a smile, recall the Word

and by need, remake me whole.

For it is possible with the Lord,

to soar above the convoluted,

and any kind of pain;

in true victory,

in the face of tears fallen,

by selfers seeking gain.

Looking to His Grand Fortress,

to cover me in this fight without a knife,

for He hides me to walk through fire;

with a shield invisible against strife.

For we are Christian soldiers;

strong against what does not relent;

fiercely wise enough to discern hypocrisy

of all sorts of wicked intent.

So give Him praise and glory!

For there is none like the one true Lord.

Live on your knees all you peoples

and never forget to remember your swords!
