Ode To Hubby: What Happens When You're Gone
by Tonja Taylor

Let them praise His name in chorus and choir and with the [single or group] dance; let them sing praises to Him with the tambourine and lyre!--Psalm 149:3, AMPC

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!--Philippians 4:4, AMPC

Ode to Hubby: What Happens When You're Gone

I love you, Hubby,

But I'm glad when you're gone,

'Cause it gives me more time

With my Jesus, alone

When you're gone

I raise my flags,

and jump and spin

and dance--no lags

I turn up the praise

music really loud

And I worship God,

Not for any crowd!

"I do this at home!"

I say with glee

"I'm never alone--

Christ Jesus with me!"

I love you, Hubby,

But I'm glad when you're gone,

'Cause it gives me more time

With my Jesus, alone!
