"You made a 57-million dollar mistake!" the pastor said the people told him (in his past life). "What were you thinking?!"

He laughed. "I thought they were joking at first, but then I saw their faces.They were disturbed, but then they said, 'Forget about it. It will all be all right by tomorrow!'"

He went on to say that this is the way God is with us. Hallelujah!

The "mistake" we've made is so much more costly than just 57 million dollars! 

Our sin--our eternal separation from God, because of the rebellion and sin nature into which every human is born--cost Jesus everything: His blood, His life! 

The LORD in His mercy sent His perfect and only Son, Jesus, to pay the price for our sin! He wants every person to be saved, to be adopted into His eternal Royal Family, so He can lavish His love upon every one of us!

While we were yet in weakness [powerless to help ourselves], at the fitting time Christ died for (in behalf of) the ungodly.--Romans 5:6, AMPC

4 But when the proper time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born subject to [the regulations of] the Law, 5 To purchase the freedom of (to ransom, to redeem, to atone for) those who were subject to the Law, that we might be adopted and have sonship conferred upon us [and be recognized as God’s sons]. 6 And because you [really] are [His] sons, God has sent the [Holy] Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba (Father)! Father! 7 Therefore, you are no longer a slave (bond servant) but a son; and if a son, then [it follows that you are] an heir [by the aid of God, through Christ.--Galatians 4:4-7, AMPC

You need Jesus Christ as your Savior, and LORD--and Best Friend forever! He is so very good, and kind, and generous, and faithful, and patient! You've never known a friend as good as Him!

Once you ask Him to forgive you of your sins, and ask Him to come into your heart and be your LORD and Savior, He will, and your life will start changing for the better, because He will be with you forever, to help you life a much better life! 

Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right  relationship with God) by Christ’s blood, how much more [certain is it that] we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God.--Romans 5:9, AMPC

True Christianity is a relationship, and it will be a process to getting to know Him, and letting Him teach you His ways, and letting Him help you follow Him to a wonderful adventure of the higher life called "Zoe" (John 10:10)--the life God meant for us all to live, from the beginning (Genesis 1)!

When you receive the LORD Jesus as your Savior and LORD, you will be rescued from hell, and translated into the Heavenly realm. The LORD Jesus Christ Who died for you over 2,000 years ago, and rose again to live forever and help you will be with you always as you follow Him! 

Now He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to Him all men are alive [whether in the body or out of it] and they are alive [not dead] unto Him [in definite relationship to Him].--Luke 20:28, AMPC
