Hear a word,

say a word, 

like all the day through.

Copy cat copy cat;

that’s what I’ll to do!

But there are some words

I do know well

like: come, run and go.

Which leads me to ask the question:

which way will the wind to blow?

For my kite to fly

wind, be more than slight;

rise up and tremble,

kite tail, take flight!

Hear a word,

like: up and down,

canopy and ball.

gimmie words big and small!

So many words, do I try

like: roll and splat

and sink and spin.

Every day words,

where oh where, shall I begin?
