Anna's Daily Devotional
by Anastasia Floyd

A refusal to correct is a refusal to love; love your children by discipling them.

SUMMARY:

When we don't discipline our children and allow them to continue in rebellion and bad behavior we are not showing them love. God the father demonstrates how we must be with our children, he loved the people of Israel but when they would not behave he did not hesitate to discipline them. Many want to accuse those who bring correction and rebuke to the body of Christ as being, judgmental and critical. But that is only an excuse to hide the fact that some don't want to change, some don't want to live Holy and Clean, some have a form of Godliness but they deny the actual power! A Righteous Man will accept correction and rebuke without becoming angry and defensive and full of Pride. David acknowledged his sin he did not make any excuses for it. The Prophets are here for a reason! They bring good words and they also bring words of correction and rebuke! Let him that hath an Ear hear the Word of the Lord.

PRAYER:

Father forgive me for the many times I have become angered because I was rebuked or corrected. Forgive me for becoming religious and not really walking in the path you chose for me. Father forgive me for speaking against those you sent into my life to help me get it together. Create in me a clean heart O God, and renew a right spirit within me. In Jesus Name. Amen.
